It's Taf's birthday on New Year's day. We went for a walk in Crosby to see Gormley's Iron Men. They were amazing. 100 iron statues gazing out to sea. Some were actually in the sea and some were half buried in the sand. It was an awesome sight.
He's not modest then - the statues had large appendages which, as the men in out part pointed out, would not be anywhere near that large given the temperature that day.

I know of Gormley's work. Apparently he casts every one of them based on his own body. It must've been so cool to see.
