Taf and I drove up north on Friday to see our new baby niece. We could have done with a boat to get there. We had to drive through a fair few floods. It was a bit scary. Never mind, here is a pic of our little niece. I had a few cuddles with her, but declined to learn nappy changing. My time will come! I can feel my baby moving now and I'm thrilled.

I was like that with the nappies too. On the other hand, it might be better to practise on someone else's kid...
nah, you don't need practice. when you gotta do it you just do it. boys are great fun with nappy changes. First time with LJ and he peed and got himself in the eye! He's done a lovely spray up the wall also. it doesn't happen so much now but he used to catch us out all the time. Like he was saying "ahh freedom!" and letting it all out... I was usually laughing so much I could not think to grab a nappy or other to cover him.
and you don't want to deal with some other babies poop. Your own, you have no choice. Other's and you usually end up making that "prepare to vomit" noise (I do anyway).
Yay for your wee one ding the wiggles. cool aye :)
Oh and she's a gorgeous wee bub your niece. Funny but seeing newborns does not make me clucky like so many people but I can appreciate so much more just how lovely babies are now.
"ding the wiggles" oh dear.. 'doing the wiggles'. Paul is dead against the wiggles ever being allowed on in this house. somehow I know one of their songs without ever seeing them (hot potato... cold spagetti ... mashed banana... with corresponding funny actions)
oh heck, do they have the Wiggles in the UK? It has to be better than Teletubbies. JJ has just got into them and she has her own Lala and Po. This has doubled her vocabulary!
